C. S. International

Down in Sri Pally, specifically in the Tantipara area, you’ll find us at C. S. International. We get our mail through the Mrigala post office, and most of our supplies come in via Dankuni. It’s a bit of a trek to get here sometimes, especially when the roads are muddy after a big storm, but we make it work. The office is small and filled with papers and samples that have been sitting there for months. We aren't the type of place with shiny glass walls or expensive chairs. Most of the furniture here has been around since we first opened. We spend our mornings checking the mail and seeing what needs to be sent out. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication, which can be tiring, but it’s what keeps the lights on. The local neighborhood is pretty quiet, mostly just families and a few other small shops like ours. Sometimes we walk down the street to grab a snack or just to stretch our legs. There’s always a bit of a breeze coming through the windows, which is nice in the summer. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know the routine inside and out. It’s not a complicated business, we just try to be honest and do the work right the first time. It gets dark early here in the winter, so we usually wrap up and head out by five.
