If you find yourself near Ram Ghat or the Uttarpara Mousumi Clubmou, you’ve probably walked right past us. Soumily'S Choice is located in Ananda Bhaban. It’s a local spot where we just handle our daily business. We aren't trying to be anything huge or corporate. We’re just part of the neighborhood here. Living and working near the water at Ram Ghat means there is always a bit of a breeze, which is nice when it gets hot in the afternoons. Ananda Bhaban is where we set everything up. It’s a plain building, nothing too special to look at, but it works for what we need. We see a lot of the same faces every day, people going to the club or heading down to the ghat. It’s a tight-knit area. We spend our mornings getting things ready and then we’re just here until the evening. Sometimes the club has events and the whole street gets loud, which makes the day go by faster. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk. We just show people what we have and let them decide for themselves. It’s how we like to run things. No pressure, just a local business trying to stay busy and helpful. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the bricks. If you’re ever in Uttarpara, this is where you can find us, just doing our thing and staying out of the way.
