Unique

Unique is located over in Serampore, specifically on Patuapara Lane at house 117/A. If you know the Hooghly district, you know these streets can be a bit narrow and tucked away. We’ve been set up here for some time now. It’s a local operation, and we mostly stick to what we know. The area around here is pretty traditional, and we like being part of the community. Every day starts about the same, opening up the doors and getting the lights on. We don’t have a massive staff, just a few of us who know the routine well. Sometimes the post takes a while to reach us because of how the lanes are laid out, but we make do. It’s not a flashy place. We have our desks, our files, and a lot of tea throughout the afternoon. People in the neighborhood know us by name, which is nice. We handle our daily tasks without making much noise. Serampore has its own pace, and we’ve definitely settled into it over the years. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or office furniture that we don't need. It’s just a functional space where we handle the business. It gets humid in the summer, but that’s just how it is here in West Bengal. We just keep our heads down and work. There isn't much more to it than that, really. It is just a simple place for us to do our jobs.
