You can find us on the third floor of Vidyasagar Bhavan, right there on G.T. Road in Serampore. It’s a busy area, especially with all the traffic coming through Hooghly. Our office at Flat No. 305 isn't very large, but it serves us well for managing the industrial side of things. We’ve been part of this community for quite some time now. Dealing with manufacturing and supply chains means there’s always a lot of phone calls and ledger books open on the desks. We aren't really the type to have a slick reception area. It’s more about the work we do for the factories and the local units. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs. Most of the people working here have been with us for years. We know the shopkeepers downstairs and the tea stall nearby. It’s a traditional way of working, focusing on the day-to-day tasks. We handle a lot of logistics from this office, making sure the orders for the Udyog sector are processed. It gets a bit hectic towards the end of the month when the accounts need closing. The heat in Serampore can be a lot in the summer, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. We don't spend much time on fancy websites or brochures. We just do our work and keep things simple at the office, making sure every order is handled properly and that the paperwork is all in order.
