Tuntun General Store

Tuntun General Store is located in the Ravindra Nagar area of Hooghly district. You can find us right near Shree Guru Primary School. It is a lively spot to be, especially when the school bell rings and the kids come out. We sell all the usual things you would expect from a neighborhood general store. We have snacks, soap, pens, and basic kitchen supplies. The shop is quite small and we have been here for a long time. Our shelves are made of wood and they are starting to show their age a bit. We don't mind because it feels like home to us. We know most of the people who live on this street. We often spend as much time talking to our customers as we do selling things. It’s a friendly place. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. People just know that we are here. When the weather is nice, we keep the front door wide open. In the rainy season, we have to put up a bit of a barrier to keep the water out. We don't use any fancy technology to run the store. Everything is done the old-fashioned way with a pen and paper. We are happy with how things are. Tuntun General Store is just a small local business trying to serve the families in Ravindra Nagar. We plan to keep doing this for many more years to come for the neighbors.
