Our business is situated in Village Bora, near Biswalakhitala in the Hooghly district. The post office is also named Bora, so we are really in the heart of the local community. It is a very green area, and the air feels a lot cleaner than it does in the city. We have a decent-sized space here where we handle all the Testyum products. It is a fairly simple operation. We bring in the ingredients, process them according to our own way of doing things, and then pack them up for the local markets. Most of us here have grown up in this part of West Bengal, so there is a lot of local connection. We don't really have a hierarchy or any corporate structure. It is more like a group of neighbors working together. The work is steady and it keeps us busy throughout the year. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or slow deliveries because of the rural location, but we have learned how to work around those things. There is always a lot of activity around Biswalakhitala, and we are glad to be a part of it. We do not use any big marketing words to describe ourselves. We are just a food product company in a village, doing our best to produce something that people want to buy. It is a simple life and a simple business.
