Technofab Manufacturing Ltd. is tucked away on Khatir Bazar Lane in Rishra. If you are coming through the Hooghly district, you might miss the turn-off if you aren't looking closely for 84/1/D. It’s a typical manufacturing setup where the machines are usually louder than the people. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while now. The lane itself is pretty narrow and it can be a real pain when the trucks try to come in for pickups or drop-offs. We mostly spend our mornings checking the schedules and making sure the machines are actually running right. It’s dirty work sometimes, with plenty of grease and metal scraps around, but that is just the nature of manufacturing. We don’t have a fancy lobby with a receptionist. Usually, if someone comes by, they just walk into the main area and find one of us. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for years, so we all know how the place runs. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend the whole night getting them back up, which isn't fun but it has to happen. The weather gets really humid here being near the river, which makes the shop floor pretty hot in the summer months. We just keep the fans going and get the work done. It’s a simple life, just making things and making sure they get to where they need to go on time.
