My shop, Tarama Vandar, is in the village of Anur. It is under the Goghat police station area. This is a small place where everyone knows everyone else. I sell mostly daily items that families in the village need. You can find things like cooking oil, sugar, tea, and some snacks for the kids. The shop is not very big, and the walls are just plain. I do not have any fancy lights or glass displays. Everything is kept in jars or on wooden shelves that I put up myself. I have been running this place for many years now. People come by in the evening after work to buy things and chat for a bit. It is as much a social spot as it is a store for the community. I do not have a computer to do the billing. I just write it down in a notebook if someone is buying on credit until their payday. Sometimes the stock takes a while to arrive from the town, so the shelves might look a bit empty for a day or two. But usually, I have the basics. It is a simple way to live and work. The village is quiet, and I like being part of the community here. I do not need any big advertisements. The people in Anur know I am here if they need something for their kitchen. It is just a small village shop. (254 words)
