Our office is located at Amulya Bhawan in the Debanandapur area, near Bishalakshmi Tala in the Hooghly district. It’s a bit of a trek from the main Kolkata city, but we like being out here. Tantia Constructions Ltd uses this location as a base for many of our projects in the surrounding districts. The air is a bit clearer, and there’s a bit more space than you get in the city. Amulya Bhawan is a solid building that serves us well. We do a lot of work on roads, bridges, and other big structures that help people get around. It’s a lot of coordination between the office and the men out in the field. We don't have a lot of corporate rules; we just expect everyone to do their part. The people in the office are like a small family. We’ve worked together for ages. Debanandapur is a quiet place, which is a good change of pace from the noisy construction sites we visit during the day. We don’t spend money on fancy advertisements or polished brochures. Our reputation comes from the work we’ve left behind in the ground and in the air. It’s honest work that takes a lot of sweat and patience. Being in Hooghly gives us a different perspective on things. We focus on the practical stuff, making sure the supplies arrive and the work stays on track. It is a long day usually, but we get it done.
