If you find yourself in Uttarpara, over in Hooghly, you might come across our office. We are in Flat 101 at 88 BK Street. It’s a residential building so it feels very quiet and local. Srijan Realty has this small space to manage the projects in this part of the region. It’s a lot different than being in the middle of Kolkata. Things move a bit slower here. We spend our time checking on building progress and meeting with folks from the neighborhood. The flat is small, just a couple of rooms where we keep all our files and some basic furniture. There’s a small kitchen where we make tea for anyone who drops by. We don't have a big staff. It’s usually just one or two of us here at a time. We spend a lot of our day out on the street or at the actual building sites nearby. Uttarpara has a lot of old charm and we try to fit in without making too much of a fuss. The address is easy enough to find if you know the street. We don’t do any big advertising. Most people just know us through word of mouth or seeing our signs on the sites. It’s a simple way of doing business. We deal with the issues as they pop up, whether it’s a plumbing problem or a delay in the delivery of sand. We just keep moving forward with the daily tasks.
