The 712201 area is where we do our thing. Working in Serampore means dealing with the humidity and the lively street life right outside our door. Sometimes the tea stall down the road is the busiest place on the block. Our office is just a place where we sit down and handle the logistical side of our operations. We have some shelves filled with documents and a couple of tables that have seen better days. It’s functional, and it works for us. We don't feel the need to polish everything up for show. Most of our days are spent checking lists and making phone calls. We know our neighbors, and they know us. It feels more like being part of a community than being a detached business. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and head home. Life moves at its own pace here on T.C. Goswami Street, and we are just fine with that. It’s a practical way to live and work.
