Sm Hooghly Beverage Llp

Out here in Bhanderhati, things move at their own speed. Our beverage setup is right in the middle of it all in Hooghly. It gets dusty on the roads so we spend a lot of time wiping down the crates and making sure everything looks decent enough. We handle a lot of bottles every day and the sound of glass clinking is basically the background music of my life now. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and moving stuff from the back to the front. My hands are usually a bit tired by five o'clock. We have a small group of guys working here and we mostly just talk about the local news or the weather while we work. The building itself is nothing special, just a practical space where we can get the job done without too much fuss. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit and we have to wait it out, which is just part of living in this part of West Bengal. We try to keep the stock organized but when a big shipment comes in, it takes over the whole floor for a day. It’s a bit cramped sometimes but we make it work. I’ve lived around here my whole life so I know most of the people who stop by. It’s just a regular business trying to stay busy and keep the inventory moving out to the local shops.
