Simplex Infrastuctures Ltd

Our spot is right on Shibpur Main Road, near the Rajbari and Thakurbari areas in Tribeni. It’s a recognizable part of Hooghly. Simplex Infrastuctures Ltd has been operating out of this location for some time. We’re mostly busy with the usual construction and infrastructure stuff that a place like this needs. The road outside can get pretty noisy with traffic, but we’re used to it by now. Inside the office, it’s mostly just us trying to keep the files in order and making sure the crews know where they’re supposed to be. Working in a place with so much history like Tribeni is interesting. You see the old buildings and then you see the new stuff we're helping with. It’s a mix. We don’t spend a lot of time on fancy speeches or anything. Usually, someone is just shouting about a delivery or a missed phone call. That's just the way it is here. Most of the guys live nearby, so we all know the shortcuts through the district. We’ve had some long days lately, but that’s the nature of this kind of work. The rain sometimes slows us down, especially around monsoon, but we catch up eventually. If you’re heading down the main road past the temple, you’re basically right there. We just keep our heads down and do the job as it comes. It feels good to be a local fixture in this part of West Bengal. We keep extra boots by the door for the mud.
