If you find yourself in Gazinadaspur, you’ll find us tucked away near the Pandua police station. This part of Hooghly is where we’ve set our roots for the current projects. The office isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a sturdy building that holds all our maps and equipment. We’ve got a lot of history in West Bengal, and being here in Pandua feels right. The weather can be tough, especially when it’s pouring rain and we have to get out to the sites. We spend a lot of our time coordinating with the teams and making sure everyone has what they need. It’s a lot of phone calls and scribbling notes on whatever paper is nearby. We keep it simple here. No big corporate meetings, just quick talks over tea to decide what needs to happen next. The floors are usually a bit dusty from all the foot traffic, and the fans never stop spinning. It’s a working office in every sense. Sometimes the internet is slow, which makes things a bit tricky, but we’ve learned to be patient. We know the local shopkeepers and the folks living nearby. It’s a community feel, and that helps when things get stressful. Simplex Infrastructures Ltd is just trying to get these projects finished on time. We just keep our heads down and focus on the bricks and mortar of the job every single day.
