We are located in Balarambati, over in the Singur area. It’s a pretty well-known spot in Hooghly, mostly because of all the history here. Our office is right in the village, so we’re surrounded by people we’ve known for years. The building is simple, just what we need to keep the records straight and manage the daily tasks. We don’t have those big glass walls or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you’ll find one of us drinking tea and staring at a laptop or a stack of papers. The power goes out once in a while, so we keep the torches handy. Life moves a bit slower here, but our work keeps us on our toes. We spend a lot of time traveling between the village and the actual sites where the machines are. It’s a lot of driving on narrow roads. We try to be good neighbors and not make too much of a mess when the trucks come through. It’s a practical way to work. You get to know the land and the people really well. There’s always someone stopping by to chat or drop off mail. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. Simplex Infrastructures Ltd is just here to do the work that needs doing. It’s honest and it keeps us busy from morning till night. We’re just regular folks doing our part.
