We are located in Makhla-2, in the Raghunath Pur area of Hooghly district. It’s under the Uttarpara police station jurisdiction, which is a quiet enough spot for an office like ours. At Simplex Infrastructures Limited, we aren't doing anything fancy. Our day starts early, usually with a lot of phone calls to check on site progress across the district. The building we’re in is pretty standard for this part of West Bengal. We’ve got the usual office setup with computers that have seen better days and plenty of folders piled up on every surface. It gets a bit humid here, so the windows stay open when we can catch a breeze. We focus on the practical side of infrastructure—getting the supplies moved and making sure the workers have what they need to stay on track. It’s a lot of manual tracking and checking. We know the local roads well, especially when we’re trying to navigate the narrow lanes with heavy equipment. Sometimes the rains make everything a mess, and we have to spend hours adjusting the schedules. It’s just part of the job. There’s no big corporate vibe here; it’s just a group of us who know how to get things built. We keep it simple and honest, handling the problems as they come up and making sure the work gets done eventually, even when things get difficult.
