Sdsg Exim Private Limited operates out of Kumar Plaza in Uttarpara. We are located at 84 T.N. Mukherjee Road, care of Mita Dey. Hooghly is where we call home and where we do all our business. We are an export-import company, so our days are filled with checking on shipments and talking to suppliers. The office in Kumar Plaza is where everything happens. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for our desks and some storage for samples and documents. Being on T.N. Mukherjee Road means there's always activity outside, which we kind of like. We've been working in the exim field for a while now. It’s a lot of checking and re-checking details to make sure nothing goes wrong with the orders. Sometimes we get stuck in traffic trying to get to the ports, but that’s just part of living in this area. We aren't some big corporate entity with a board of directors; we’re just a small team trying to make a living by moving goods across borders. We use simple tools and try to keep our overhead low. Our neighbors in the building are mostly other small businesses, so there's a good sense of community. We don't promise anything crazy, we just do the work as it comes in. If you walk into our office, you'll probably see us on the phone or typing away at old computers. It’s what we do day in and day out. That is just how the business goes for us.
