If you are looking for Satyanarayan Hardware, you have to head out to Villpost- Katsit. It is under the Arambagh police station jurisdiction. It is a rural spot where things move a little slower than in the big cities. The shop sits there on the edge of the village and serves a lot of the local farmers and folks living nearby. We sell the usual hardware stuff you would expect to find in a place like Katsit. There are shovels, wire mesh, nuts, bolts, and plenty of tools for the fields. The air out here is usually smelling like the earth and sometimes the rain when the season changes. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles at the shop. The roof is corrugated metal and it gets quite loud when it rains during the monsoon. Most of our customers are people we have known for years. We talk about the weather and the crops as much as we talk about hardware. It is a practical business. We open early because that is when the village wakes up.
