Daulat Bazar is where you can find us. It's a busy spot in Tribeni, especially on market days when everyone is out buying things. Saroj Mukherjee & Co. has been operating out of this area for a good bit of time. The building we are in is old, but it stays cool enough in the summer months. You have to head towards the Mogra police station side to find the exact street. It’s noisy outside with the rickshaws and people talking, but once you step inside, it’s a bit quieter. We spend most of our time at the desks dealing with whatever comes in that day. Sometimes it’s paperwork, sometimes it’s people coming in for a chat about what they need. We don't have any big signs or anything flash. Just the name on the door so people know they’re in the right place. It’s a local business through and through. The walk from the station isn’t too bad if the weather is okay. We usually have the radio playing low in the background while we work. It’s just a regular office setup with files piled up and a couple of ceiling fans that have seen better days. We don’t try to be something we aren't. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families. Most of the people who come here are from around Mogra or Tribeni. It feels like a small world sometimes when you see the same faces every week. We just keep at it.
