Santoshi Clinic

Santoshi Clinic is located right near the Dankuni Railway Station on T N Mukherjee Road. If you know this part of Dankuni, you know how busy it gets every single morning. The trains are constantly coming in and people are always rushing out towards the main road to find a rickshaw. Our clinic is just a regular spot along that stretch of T N Mukherjee Road. We usually open up when the first big crowds start moving through the area. It is not a very big place, just enough room for us to do our work and for people to sit down for a bit while they wait their turn. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint soon, but we spend more time worrying about the people coming in than we do about the decor. Being so close to the station means there is always noise from the horns and the buses outside. Sometimes it is actually hard to hear yourself think when the traffic jams up right in front of us. We have been at this spot for a while now, so we know the tea seller nearby and most of the other shop owners on this block. It is just a local clinic where we try to help out whoever walks through the door. We do not have fancy chairs or a big reception desk with a fancy computer. It is mostly just wooden benches and some old files. We just keep things moving day by day.
