Samir Halder Foundation

So, the Samir Halder Foundation is based out in Tribeni, over in the Hooghly area. We are located in the Govt Colony part of Baikuntha Pur. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the main city, but it’s a nice enough spot. We’ve been working out of this building for a while now. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place where we sit down and get things sorted. We handle a lot of local stuff here. People from around the colony often drop by to talk or ask about what we are doing next. It’s mostly just a few of us sitting around desks, talking on our mobiles, and trying to keep the records straight. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but that isn't really a priority for us right now. We spend most of our time out and about or dealing with the local needs that pop up. Living and working in Hooghly means things move a bit slower than in the middle of Kolkata, which we don't mind. We just take things one day at a time and try to be useful to the people nearby. There’s no big corporate vibe here, just us trying to keep the foundation running without too much fuss. We drink a lot of tea and stay late when there’s a lot of paperwork to finish. It’s just how it goes for us.
