Sadar Hospital

Sadar Hospital is right here in Chinsurah. It has been a fixture of this town for many years. Everyone in Chinsurah knows where the hospital is. It’s a large building, though it definitely shows its age if you look closely. We aren't a fancy private clinic with a lot of money; we are a main hospital for the entire area. This means we are almost always full to capacity. The hallways are usually packed with families and patients waiting their turn to see a doctor. It can be quite loud and hectic at times. We have various departments spread out across the site. The grounds are large, but keeping up with maintenance is a constant struggle for us. We see people from all walks of life. Some come from far-away villages, and others live just down the street. It’s a practical place where the work never really stops. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles or modern decor. The furniture is old, and the floors are well-worn from all the thousands of people walking on them over the years. We don't do any self-promotion or advertising. We don't need to because there is always a long line at the door. It’s a government-run place, so things move at their own pace. We just try to keep things going day after day for the people of Chinsurah. It’s a core part of the town, providing a necessary service to anyone who walks in.
