S. B. Enterprise

Out here in Pandua, things move at their own pace. S. B. Enterprise is located right on Station Road, so we see the crowds coming and going from the trains all day long. Hooghly is a big district, but this corner of it feels like home to us. We’ve been running this place for a good few years now, dealing with whatever the local folks need from day to day. It’s not a huge operation by any means. Our shop is filled with various supplies, and sometimes it takes me a minute to find exactly what a customer is asking for, but we get there eventually. The shelves are packed and the floor space is tight, but it works. I spend a lot of my time talking to the suppliers or writing out bills by hand when the power goes out, which happens more than I’d like. We don't spend money on big signs or fancy decorations because that's not what the people around here care about. They just want to know you have what they need at a price that isn't crazy. My brother helps out when things get extra busy, especially during the harvest seasons when the town gets crowded. It can be noisy with the traffic outside, but you get used to it. We just keep the doors open and do our bit for the community here in Pandua. It’s a simple life and a simple business that keeps us going.
