My name is Md Ziaul Alam and I run things here under the name M/s. Sms Exim Enterprise. We are located in Vill. Rampara, which is under the Dakshindihi post office area in the Jangipara police station jurisdiction. It’s a bit away from the main city buzz, out here in the village surroundings. This is where we handle all our export and import activities. We started this small venture because we wanted to work for ourselves and handle trade directly from this region. The office is part of the local landscape here. We spend a lot of time coordinating with different people to make sure the goods get where they need to go on time. It is not always easy working from a village location but we manage the logistics pretty well. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking over documents. We don't have a big fancy office building, just a simple place where the work happens. Neighbors stop by once in a while, and it feels more like a community business than a corporate office. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay on top of the shipping schedules. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow or the roads get muddy, but we keep the business moving. It’s honest work and we are glad to be doing it from our own home area here in Rampara. It keeps us busy and connected to the world.
