Pradip Tea House

Our shop is right at Jaipur More, which is a major junction if you are heading through Arambagh. Being so close to the Postp.S. means there are always people around, including the police and folks coming in to report things or deal with paperwork. Jaipur More is always dusty and loud because of all the trucks and buses that pass through the intersection. We spend a lot of time wiping down the tables just to keep the road grime off them. It is a simple tea house, nothing more. We have some wooden benches and a few light bulbs that hum a bit when it gets dark. The work is steady because there is always a traveler or a driver who needs a break from the road. We usually start the stove early and do not turn it off until late at night. Arambagh is a busy area, and we are right at one of the main spots where people meet up. Sometimes the rain turns the area around the More into a bit of a muddy mess, but people still find their way to us. It is just me and a couple of others keeping the place running. We do not have any fancy machines or anything like that. We just do things the way they have always been done here at Jaipur More for as long as I can remember. Pradip Tea House is just part of the landscape now. It gets the job done and we keep the tea brewing.
