Out in the Hooghly district, specifically in the Kailash Nagar area of Bandel, you’ll find Precision Transmission Chain. We are at address number 43, not too far from the post office. This part of West Bengal has an old industrial feel to it, and we fit right into that. We deal with metal chains—the kind that go into big machines and keep things moving. Our workshop is full of the sound of metal hitting metal and the smell of industrial lubricant. It’s the kind of place where your clothes get stained by the end of the first hour. We don’t have a website that’s updated every day or a fancy receptionist. Usually, you’ll find us on the shop floor checking the links or talking to a client about technical specs. The humidity here can be tough, especially in the summer, but we’re used to it. We’ve been in Bandel for quite some time, and we know the local industry well. We don't try to sound like a big corporate entity because we aren't one. We are just people who know how to put chains together so they don't break under pressure. It’s a lot of hard work and attention to detail, but that’s what the job requires. Most days are spent making sure the orders are packed right and the dimensions are correct for the machines they’re meant for.
