You can find Nicco Corporation Ltd out in the village of Hashimpur. We are tucked away in the Hooghly district, near Patyligram. It’s quite a different setting compared to the big cities. Being out here in Balagarh means we are surrounded by a bit more green, but we are still very much a working industrial site. Life at the facility is pretty straightforward. We start early, usually when the sun is just coming up over the fields. There’s a lot of physical work involved, and things can get pretty messy with the dust and the equipment. We don't have fancy office furniture or air conditioning in every corner. It’s more about getting the job done and making sure everything is built right. The people who work here mostly live nearby, so it feels like a neighborhood effort. We deal with various tasks that keep us busy year-round. Sometimes the transport to and from the village can be a bit slow, especially when it rains, but we’ve learned to plan around it. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of our day is spent on the floor or out in the yard. It’s a practical way to live and work. We’ve been part of this community for a long time, and we don't plan on changing how we do things. It’s just honest work in a quiet part of West Bengal.
