Nabo Pragati Nidhi Limited

If you are around Boso in Dhaniakhali, you might have seen where we work. Nabo Pragati Nidhi Limited is set up right there in that area. It’s a local spot, nothing like those big city offices you see on television. Most days start with opening up the shutters and dusting off the tables because things get a bit dusty around here. The neighborhood is mostly familiar faces, so we see the same people walking past every day. Sometimes it feels like time moves a bit slower in this part of the world. We don't really do anything flashy. There is a lot of writing things down and checking the books to make sure everything adds up right. I usually bring my lunch from home and eat it at my desk when things get quiet around noon. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it doesn't really matter for the work we are doing. People know us as the local office where things get handled without much fuss. We have some chairs for visitors and a few old cupboards full of folders. It’s just a regular workplace for us. We try to stay organized, even if the pile of papers on the corner desk says otherwise. It is a bit cramped when more than three people come in at once, but we manage. That is just how it is in Boso. We just keep the records straight and wait for the day to end.
