M/S S. Ghoshal & Co., Chinsurah, Hooghly, W.B

M/S S. Ghoshal & Co. is located in an old part of Chinsurah. We are right on College Road, not far from the post office. It is a busy spot during the day with all the students and rickshaws going past 374. Somnath Bannerjee’s place is where we handle everything. It is not a big fancy office, just a room with some old desks and a lot of paper. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but we are used to it by now. The tea shop at the corner is where we get our morning break. It is quite humid here in Hooghly, especially when the monsoon starts. We spend most of our time looking at maps or talking to people who drop by. The pin code is 712101 if you are ever sending us mail. People know us around here because we have been at this address for a long time. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in the office at once, but it works for what we do. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished before the evening train rush starts. You can hear the constant bustle from the road all afternoon. It is just a normal workplace with people trying to stay organized. We do not have a big sign out front, but people find us easily enough once they get to College Road. It is a practical setup, nothing too special to look at, just where we show up every morning and drink our tea.
