M/S Karma Udyog

M/S Karma Udyog is based out in Dankuni, right on Tn Mukherjee Road. If you’ve ever driven down that road, you know it’s a major artery for trucks and industrial traffic. It’s a bit out of the main city way, so it has a different feel to it. The dust is a constant battle here, especially in the dry months when the trucks kick up everything from the road. We’ve been set up here for a while, and the routine is pretty much the same every morning. We open up the gates, check what needs to be handled for the day, and just get to it. The building is simple and practical. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anyone wearing suits. Most of the time, we are just in our work clothes dealing with the tasks at hand. Dankuni can be a tough place to work sometimes because of the weather or the occasional transport delays on Tn Mukherjee Road, but we make it work. It’s a community of businesses out here, all trying to keep things moving. We don’t really do much in terms of promotion or trying to sound important. We’re just local people who know this area well. The coffee from the shop down the road is what keeps us going on most afternoons. It’s a straightforward life here at our spot on the road, nothing more and nothing less than that. We just keep doing the work.
