Masat Bisweswar Constraction Llp is based right in the middle of Mosat Bazar. It’s in the Hooghly district. If you’ve ever been to the market here, you know how loud and busy it gets. Our office is right there in the thick of it. We are local people doing local construction work. We don’t have a fancy glass building. It’s a simple setup where we keep our tools and our books. Most of our projects are nearby. We know the people in this town. When someone needs something built or fixed, they just walk into the office. We don’t really do email much; it’s mostly face-to-face or over the phone. The floors are often a bit dusty because of the market outside. We don’t mind. It shows we’re working. There’s always someone stopping by for a chat or to ask about a job. We have a couple of desks and a lot of samples of bricks and tiles lying around. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We don't use big marketing slogans. We just tell people what we can do and then we go out and do it. Hooghly is a good place to work. The pace is different than the big city. We take our time to get things right. It’s a family-style business, really. Everyone helps out and we try to finish what we started before the sun goes down every day.
