Maa Enterprise

Our small office for Maa Enterprise is in Chinsurah, specifically in the Manindrapally area near Bonomoszid. We cover a lot of ground, working across Bandel and Balagarh too. It’s mostly just trading and supplying whatever is needed locally. Some days we are dealing with construction materials, and other days it might be something completely different. It keeps us on our toes. The office is just a simple room with a few files and a fan that squeaks. We spend a lot of time on our motorbikes going from one place to another. The roads around here can be pretty rough, especially after the monsoon hits. We know most of our customers by their first names because we’ve lived in this area forever. It’s not a big corporation with rules and meetings. We just talk to people and figure out what they need. Sometimes we get the orders wrong and have to go back and fix it, but that's just part of it. Bonomoszid is a quiet enough place most of the time. We aren't trying to expand or become famous. We just want to do enough business to keep things running smoothly for our families. It’s a practical way to earn a living in this part of Bengal. We drink a lot of tea while we work and listen to the radio when it's slow. It’s a decent life and we stay busy enough.
