M. P. H. Stores

M. P. H. Stores is out in the village of Dongal. We are part of the Daharkundu post office area which falls under the Arambagh police station. It is a very rural setting and things move a bit slower out here than they do in the big towns. We have our store set up to serve the local people in the village. It is a simple building and we keep all sorts of things in stock that people might need for their daily lives. Living and working in Dongal means you know almost everyone who walks through the door. We are not a big supermarket or anything fancy like that. It is just M. P. H. Stores in a quiet corner of the village. The road out here can be a bit bumpy especially after the rains but we are always open for the locals who need us. We spend our days minding the shop and talking to the neighbors who stop by for a chat or to pick up supplies. Arambagh is the nearest big town but we are quite happy being based here in the village. The air is a bit cleaner and it is much quieter than the city. We open early in the morning just as the village is waking up and stay until the sun goes down in the evening. There is no corporate mission here. We just run the store and make sure we are ready for the day.
