Larsen & Toubro Ltd.Through Contractor

We’re operating here in Telinipara, which is in the Hooghly district of West Bengal. Our setup for Larsen & Toubro Ltd. is a bit different because we work through a contractor here. You can find us on S.D. Banerjee Street. It’s a typical street, nothing too special about it. We’ve been here for a while, just handling the day-to-day tasks that come with being on a project like this. The office is pretty small and simple. We spend most of our time coordinating with the contractor and making sure the supplies arrive on time. It can be a bit of a struggle sometimes, especially when deliveries get delayed or the weather doesn’t cooperate. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a group of people trying to do a job well. There is usually a lot of tea being drunk and plenty of talk about the progress of the work. The building itself is just an ordinary place on the street. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big reception area. It’s mostly just us, some files, and a lot of lists. People in the neighborhood know us as the guys working on the project. We like the local area, even if it gets a bit loud. It’s just life in Hooghly, really. We just want to get through the work list and see the project finished.
