Kusum International

Our place is on Nabin Chakraborty Lane, right in the Chatra-Serampore area of Hooghly. It’s a bit of a walk from the main station, but it’s a quiet enough spot to get work done. We’ve been operating as Kusum International from this address for a while now. It’s an old-school setup in West Bengal, with a lot of history in the walls. We handle a variety of goods, mostly focused on getting things where they need to go, whether that's locally or further out. The office is full of files, samples, and the occasional stack of boxes waiting to be shipped. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just us making sure the orders are correct and the shipping dates are met. Serampore has that specific feel to it, and we fit right in. Sometimes the monsoons make it hard to get deliveries out on time because the lane gets a bit flooded, but we manage. We spend our days typing out invoices and talking to suppliers on the phone. It’s steady work and we take it seriously, even if the office is a bit messy with paperwork. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy furniture, we just focus on the business at hand. If you’re in the neighborhood, you’ll find us busy with the daily grind, just trying to keep the international trade moving from our small corner of Hooghly.
