J.K.Cement Ltd. (A Division Of White Cement)

We have been set up here in Babuganj for quite some time now, right over by the Red Cross in the Hooghly district. It is a pretty busy little corner of Tamlipara. Most folks around West Bengal have heard the name J.K. Cement, but our specific office at 12/392 is where the white cement division operates. It is not a flashy building or anything like that. It is just a regular place where we get the daily work done. The office is often a bit cluttered with paperwork and bags of samples sitting in the corners. We spend a lot of time talking to local builders and suppliers who need white cement for their projects. The heat can get pretty intense in the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy. Sometimes the phones ring constantly and other days it is a bit more relaxed. We have a small group of people working here who know the area well. We handle the orders and make sure the logistics are sorted out so the cement gets to where it needs to go. Living and working in Hooghly has its own rhythm. We don't go for big speeches or fancy corporate talk. We just focus on the tasks at hand. People often stop by to check on their orders or ask about the latest stock. We keep things simple and try to be helpful to everyone who walks through the door. It is just how we do things here.
