We are located at Vidya Apartment, which is on 36 N.S. Road in Rishra. It’s right here in the Hooghly district. Being in an apartment building for an office is pretty common around here. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. We’ve got the 712248 pin code, and most of the locals know where N.S. Road is because it’s a main artery for the area. We’ve got neighbors living right above and below us, so we try to keep the noise down. The rooms are a bit cramped because we have so many records and equipment stored in every corner. It’s not the kind of place you’d see in a magazine. There are tea stains on some of the desks and the chairs squeak when you sit down. We don't have a fancy lobby. You just walk in and someone will probably be there at a desk typing away or on the phone. Rishra is a busy town, and we feel like a small part of its daily pulse. We don't have a big corporate story for Jessop & Co Ltd. We just opened up shop here because it was a good spot in West Bengal, and we stayed. It’s as simple as that. The walls are covered with old photos and notes pinned up so we don't forget things.
