We are the crew for Itd Cementation India Limited over here in Uttarpara. If you know the area, we are tucked inside Uma Nivas, specifically in Block B, Flat-208. It is on 103 RPM Road. We have been here for a bit now, just handling the day-to-day work that comes with being a big construction and engineering name. Kishor Pal's place is where we set up. It’s not a fancy corporate tower or anything like that. It is just a regular flat where we keep our papers and meet to discuss whatever project is currently on the go. West Bengal weather can be a bit much sometimes, especially with the humidity, but we just get on with it. There are a few of us who cycle in or take the local transport. Usually, the mornings are the busiest when everyone is trying to figure out the schedule for the sites. We don't spend a lot of time sitting around. Most of the time, the guys are out where the actual building is happening, but this is our home base. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood, not just some cold office. People know we are here. We have a lot of stuff to keep track of, from equipment lists to worker schedules, and this little spot in Uttarpara serves us just fine for that. It’s simple, it works, and it keeps us close to the ground. That’s how we like it.
