Inspiration Clothes & U

You can find us over in Chinsurah, in the Hooghly district. We are in Chhatagoli, which is right near the Aykyatan Club. If you are from around here, you probably know the spot. Inspiration Clothes & U is basically a small operation we started because we liked the idea of working with fabrics and local styles. The shop is often filled with rolls of cloth and different patterns hanging on the walls. It isn’t a massive warehouse or a fancy boutique; it’s just a local place where we spend our days. We have a few sewing machines that are almost always running, and the sound of them becomes like background music after a while. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with all the measurements and orders, especially when a festival is coming up. We don’t have a huge team of experts, just a few of us who have learned as we went along. The building itself is older, and it has its quirks, like the door that sticks in the rainy season. People from the club often drop in to chat, and it feels more like a community space than a strict business. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to make sure the clothes we put together look right and people are satisfied when they walk out. It’s a bit dusty and crowded, but it’s our space and we are used to the way things work here.
