Most of us grew up around here, so we know the land well. We deal with projects along the riverbank and throughout the district. It involves a lot of walking around and seeing things for ourselves. We don't sit in the office all day. There is always something to check on at a site or a person to meet at the chowmatha. Things move a bit slower out here than in Kolkata, but that’s fine with us. We get the job done without making a big fuss about it. The weather can be a bit rough during the rains, which sometimes slows us down, but we just pick it up the next day. It’s honest work. We have been part of the 712222 community for a while and plan to stay put at this address.
