Gruppent Engineering & Construction Private Limited

You can find us over at 26 Ramkrishna Road, right near the Swatrant Hindi Vidyalay in Rishra. The office is actually part of Irshad Ahmed Khan’s place. Gruppent Engineering & Construction Private Limited is the full name, but it is quite a long thing to say. Being in Hooghly means we have a bit more space than the city guys, but the work is just as hard. We spend a lot of time out near Serampore checking on various project sites. The road outside can get quite muddy when the monsoon hits West Bengal. Inside the office, it is mostly just stacks of drawings and old files. We use a lot of local labor and we are always trying to coordinate between the engineers and the guys on the ground. Sometimes the communication is not perfect, but we get there in the end. It is a lot of driving back and forth between different spots in the 712248 area. We do not have any corporate suits here, just people in jeans and work boots. The school nearby means there is always the sound of kids playing while we are trying to talk about structural stuff. It is just a normal local business trying to keep up with the demand for building and fixing things around the district. We stay busy with the practical stuff and try not to get bogged down by the small things.
