Gannon Dunkerley&Co Ltd

Down here on Charakdanga Road, things stay pretty steady. We are Gannon Dunkerley&Co Ltd, located at number 67 in the Uttarpara area. It’s a quiet enough part of Hooghly district most days. We have been working out of this spot in West Bengal for some time. The building is older, but it holds up. Our mail comes through the local post office here. We don't spend much time on fancy talk or decorating the office. Most of the time, the team is out dealing with the actual work. Inside, it’s mostly desks and some old filing cabinets. We use the pin code 712258 for everything. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when shipments arrive or we have to coordinate a big project. You might see a few of us grabbing tea nearby in the afternoon. It’s a local operation. We don’t have a website that we use much, we just talk to people face to face. The road can get narrow, so parking is sometimes a bit of a headache for the bigger trucks. We just manage it. The neighbors know us as the guys who do the construction and engineering stuff. We keep our heads down and get the tasks done. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people trying to earn a living. Nothing more to it really. We’ve been part of this neighborhood long enough that we know the shortcut to the main road and where the best snacks are.
