Foundation For Children Of Bliss

Our place is over at 295A in Shantinagar. It is under the P.O. Rahara area. The Foundation For Children Of Bliss has been set up here for a while. Shantinagar is a fairly calm neighborhood, which is nice for the kind of work we handle. The building itself is just a standard house converted into an office space. It has that lived-in feel, not like those cold glass buildings you see in the city center. We have a few rooms where we keep our records and meet people. Sometimes the gate sticks a little when it rains, but we manage. Most of the staff lives nearby, so we usually walk or take a quick rickshaw to get here in the morning. We don't go in for big mission statements or anything like that. We just focus on the children and the tasks at hand each day. It is a lot of small things adding up. The neighborhood kids often play in the street outside, and you can hear them while we are working. It feels right being in a real residential area instead of a business park. We have our address clearly marked so people can find us without getting lost in the lanes of Rahara. It is a humble setup, but it works for us and the people who come to see us. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done every day.
