DROMOS ENGINEERS AND CONTRACTORS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED

Our office is in a village called Shaljhar, which is near the Khatul post office in Hooghly. We operate out of Partha Sarathi Dutta’s place. It’s a quiet spot, surrounded by fields and trees. DROMOS ENGINEERS AND CONTRACTORS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED is a small firm, mostly just one or two people running the show. Since we are an OPC, it’s a very direct way of working. There’s no big board of directors, just us making decisions as we go. We spend most of our time out on sites, looking at roads or small buildings. The office in Shaljhar is where we do the math and the drawings. It’s not a polished space. There are papers everywhere and a few old chairs. We like the peace and quiet of the village. It helps us focus on the tasks at hand. We aren't looking to become some massive multinational. We just want to do good work in Hooghly and the surrounding areas. Sometimes we have to travel a lot to get to different projects, but we always come back here to finish the paperwork. It’s a humble setup, but it’s ours. We don’t use fancy language to describe what we do. We just engineer things and we contract out the labor. It’s straightforward, and that’s how we like it. It’s just how we live and work.
