Disha Eye Hospital & Research Centre

We are set up at 14, G T Road in Sheoraphuli. Being on G T Road means there is always a lot of activity right outside our doors. This place is an eye hospital and we also do research stuff here. It’s a fairly big building to fit everything in. We have the clinics for regular checkups and then other areas for more detailed work. It’s a practical setup. Nothing about it is meant to look like a high-end office. It’s a medical facility through and through. We see a lot of people from Sheoraphuli and the nearby towns because we are right on the main road. The research part means we sometimes have more equipment or people studying data, but for the average person coming in, it’s just a hospital. We have a waiting area that gets quite a bit of use. The staff is usually running around making sure patients get to the right room. It’s a busy atmosphere. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements; we just do our jobs. People know us because we’ve been at this address for years. It’s a simple, functional place. We help people with their cataracts or just give them a new prescription for glasses. It’s good, honest work and we are glad to be part of the community here on G T Road. We just keep things moving and help who we can. G T Road is the lifeblood of this area.
