Dey'S Beverages

You can find Dey'S Beverages on Vivekananda Park Road in Arambagh. It’s a nice enough area, especially with the park being so close. People often stop by after taking a walk or sitting on the benches there. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a little every year. We mostly deal with crates of glass bottles and plastic containers. It’s heavy work, and my back usually feels it by the end of the day. The shop is small and tucked away, so you might miss it if you aren't looking. We don't have any big neon signs or anything like that. Just the name painted on the front. I usually have a radio playing in the background to keep me company when things are quiet. The humidity in Arambagh can be tough, so keeping the drinks cold is the main thing we worry about. We don't have a website or any of that stuff. If people need something, they just come by the park road and find us. My daughter helps with the accounts in the evenings. It’s a simple business and we don’t try to make it something it isn't. We just stock the drinks, serve the customers, and go home when the sun goes down. It’s what we’ve always done, and it seems to work out okay for us. Sometimes the park hosts events and that is when we get a lot of people through the door. We just keep an eye on the stock and make sure it's enough.
