Chinpack

If you find yourself walking down Jugipara Lane in Chinsurah, you’ll eventually run into us. Chinpack is the name on the board, though the letters are getting a bit faded from the sun lately. Chinsurah has that old feel to it, and our little corner of Jugipara Lane is no different. It’s a tight squeeze sometimes if a big vehicle tries to come through, so we usually tell people to just park a bit further away and walk. The air here always smells a bit like the river or whatever the neighbor is cooking for lunch. We spend a lot of time inside, just keeping things moving along. It’s not a big corporate setup with a receptionist or anything. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from whatever we’re doing. It gets humid in the summer, but we have the windows open when the dust isn't too bad. We’ve been at this address for a long time, so we know all the local faces passing by. There’s something about being in a place like this that makes the work feel more real. It isn't about having the newest office furniture or a polished lobby. It’s just about being here in Chinsurah and getting the daily tasks sorted before the sun goes down. Most days it’s just us and the sounds of the lane outside. It is what it is, and we like it that way.
