You can find us at 53 J K St in the Uttarpara area which is a place that feels a bit more relaxed than the center of the city. We have been running Capital from this spot for a long time and the building has started to show its age in a few places. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint and the front door has a habit of sticking when it rains but it feels like home to us. J K St is usually busy with people walking to work or kids playing nearby after school lets out. We don’t have any big slogans we just open the shop every morning and wait to see who comes through the door. Most days are pretty routine with us checking the stock and talking to the neighbors who stop by to say hello. It gets a bit cold in the winter months since we don’t have much in the way of heating but we just wear extra sweaters and keep moving. Uttarpara is a good place to be because everyone knows everyone else and there isn't much pressure to be something we aren't. We are just a small business trying to make a living like everyone else on this street. No one here is trying to be famous or fancy we just like being at 53 J K St. It might not look like much from the outside but we are here every day doing what we can.
