Camps Welfare Foundation is based at 3/88 Sonatuli Lane. This is in the Chawk Bazar area of Hooghly. It’s a very old part of town, so the streets are narrow and there’s a lot of history in the buildings around us. 3/88 is our specific door number. Chawk Bazar is always bustling with people and markets, so it’s never quiet around here, which we actually kind of like. It feels alive. We don’t have a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a regular space in Sonatuli Lane. Hooghly is where we’ve always been, and we don’t see that changing. We are just a group of people doing our thing. We don’t have any polished mission statements or corporate goals. We just show up at 3/88 Sonatuli Lane and get to work. Being in Chawk Bazar means we are right in the middle of the local life. Sometimes it’s hard for cars to get down the lane, so most people just walk. It’s a very practical, no-nonsense location. Camps Welfare Foundation is just the name on our paperwork; in person, we are just the folks you see at this address. We’ve been here for a bit, and the neighbors know us.
