Our office is situated out in Serampore, specifically in the S.N Housing Complex over in Provash Nagar. It is quite a bit different from being in the middle of Kolkata because things feel a little more relaxed here. We are in unit A10/105, which is a straightforward spot that we’ve set up for our daily operations. It’s more of a residential-feeling area, so you don't have that crushing city traffic right at the doorstep. The office inside is mostly just a few rooms with tables and chairs where we handle the project planning and paperwork. We have a small kitchen area where we brew tea in the morning and afternoon. The air is a bit clearer out here, and we can usually hear the birds or the neighbors instead of just car horns. We don't have a big fancy sign outside or a glass front. It looks more like a home that has been turned into a workspace, which suits us just fine. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so we don't have the long commutes that some others have to deal with. We spend our time checking on schedules and making sure the supplies are moving where they need to go. It is a quiet, steady kind of place. We just come in, do what is on the list for the day, and then head home to our families in the evening. It is honest work in a peaceful corner of Hooghly.
